Enforce Clock-In Times to Control Labor

You probably already know that Ctuit Schedules allows employees to receive their schedules via their smartphone and allows managers to build and review schedules, but did you know that Ctuit RADAR can push your schedule back to your Point of Sale to allow shift enforcement? This keeps employees from clocking in early and generating additional labor costs.

This functionality currently exists for Micros 3700 and Aloha clients. If you have a different Point of Sale System and are interested in Shift Enforcement, please let us know!

Each month, we receive many feature requests from our clients. We take every request into consideration and work hard to accommodate your specific needs. Here are some feature requests we have implemented this past quarter. 

 

 

 

 

 

RADAR Updates

THE PROBLEM: All Locations, whether they were polling or non-polling, were being included in Payroll Validation.

THE SOLUTION: We added the ability to limit, or hide, Locations from the Payroll Validation process. This can be done by going to Locations from Company Configuration and toggling “Ignore for Payroll Validation” on or off. 

THE PROBLEM: The Deposits page in the Manual Data Entry module did not have any lockout settings for designated past and future time frames, as in the settings for Manual Data Entry page.

THE SOLUTION: We added a new setting on the Settings page in the Manual Data Entry module for Deposit Lockout Period and Deposit Grace Period to enforce lockout configuration requirements. 

THE PROBLEM: In the Prep Module, the Prep Location Setup had the Usage Source and Estimated Sales Source - Forecast using the same location settings which could cause issues for some clients during new store openings or menu rollouts.

THE SOLUTION: We modified the Prep Location Setup so that Usage Source can come from a selected alternative location and if the Estimated Sales Source is Forecast, the values will come from the location building the prep sheet and not the alternative location.

 

 

 

 

 

Mobile Updates

THE PROBLEM: Some employees use email sparingly and do not have access to email at work. This makes setting up an employee account for Ctuit Schedules challenging because the temporary password is contained in an email.

THE SOLUTION: Ctuit Schedule Employee Accounts can be created with a text message to a mobile device or email account. Employees are also able to recover their own passwords with a temporary code sent via email or text message. The text message recovery only works if the employee has a phone number saved in their settings page on the Ctuit Schedules App.
